Hawaiian Snakehead Cowry(Monetaria caputophidii), also known as Cypraea caputserpentis, is an abundant, endemic, small sea snail found in shallow, rocky Hawaiian tidepools and reef edges. Recognized by its brown, white-speckled top, white margins, and thick, egg-shaped shell, it is often used in jewelry, art, and traditional octopus lures.
